It all started with a dream...of finding that perfect piece of property to build a small barn for my 2 horses, and a house overlooking their paddocks to see them every day. We worked really hard and that dream came true in 1997... that small barn got bigger, and bigger. Today, that barn provides a home for forty owners (and their horses!) Then: "The Dream"
Now: "The Reality"
The entire farm is surrounded by fencing, and a security gate to keep our horses safe and intruders out. We are surrounded by over 2,000 acres of nurseries, and many bridle trails, which we have access to through a self hinged gate which closes automatically behind us.

About
Us... 
First
and foremost, we are horse people. Golden Gait Farm's staff has over 50 years of
combined experience with horses. The care and safety of your horse is our first
priority. While the
chance that a horse can be injured by another is an inherent risk, it can be
avoided. We work carefully to reduce the risk by providing individual turnout.
Our paddocks are geographically laid out side by side with double fencing so no
one horse feels "alone." Our staff lives on the premises, so we may provide your
horse with 24 hr. care when needed. On inclimate days, when the horses are
unable to be turned out, our staff makes sure that every horse is walked in our
indoor arena, or outside once the rain/snow has stopped.
